Élégant

Alice

This 8 1/2x12 in. oil painting on canvas was created for my best friend. A simple pear tree with vibrant purple leaves and white bark stands out significantly from the deep and changing purples of the background. When I finished, to me, it seemed like something to be found in Wonderland. August 30, 2011

Not Even Once.

This 90 in. tall sculpture was inspired by the struggle with Meth addiction in Montana. The pieces of dead decaying tree have been reassembled to resemble a whole tree again. Spray painted black, wrapped in twine and barbed wire, this tree represents the deathly hold methamphetamine can take on its victims. silver branches twist into the words 'Not Even Once', the slogan for the Montana Meth Project. Fantasy

This is a mural done in indoor house paints on a wall. The dimensions are 120x90 in. The swirly design of the tree and clouds paired with the Celtic sun gives a mythical feel. The work is a good example of the circle of life with the biggest tree flourishing under an abundance of rain and sun. December 2010-March 2011

Eyes

This 8 1/2x11 in. metallic water color painting was inspired by the novel 1984. The idea that Big Brother uses fear to dominate over the citizens in a totalitarian society. No one member of the community has privacy. Big Brother is watching. March 2011

Dream House

Wheat Plate

An 8x9 in. ceramic plate made with two glazed sides and acid burned. This plate was made as a decoration, as it curves in the form of a wave and would not be entirely suitable for food. The plant design was painted with a chemical that darkened in the kiln. January 2010

Coffee Owl

A 2 1/2 in. tall ceramic clay coffee mug with 3 colored glazes. January 2010
