What Might Have Been Lost
This 11x14 Picasso-esque painting was done with oil on canvas. I took the canvas in the very beginning and split it randomly from the bottom right corner. After that, I kept the colors to their own section, using some surrealism elements. January 2012
Embrace Diversity 2
This is another 11x15in. diversity poster. The many different hands of different colors work together to create the word EMBRACE. February 2012
Embrace Diversity 1
This 11x15in. piece is done with metalic water color. I did this project to show that there are many unique things about everyone that are important, and also allow us to work together. Therefore, embracing diversity. The symbol in the upper left corner represents unity within diversity. February 2012
Two Birch Trees
This is an acrylic painting done on a 1 1/2 x 2 ft. canvas. I wanted the trees to give the feel that they were joined, even though they are two separate entities. the soft light green of the horizon and whites in the trees look vibrant up next to the harshly painted dark blue sky. February 2012
Music
These 5x7 paintings are done with acrylics. I did this painting for a friend of mine that is very musically talented, you can almost see the flow of music when she plays. March, 2012
Phoenix
This 12x9 in watercolor pencil painting portrays a stormy ocean scene, along with the form of a phoenix flying in the electric sky. September 2011
Élégant
This 18x24 in. colored pencil drawing is an overall picture of my style. The scattered blue background helps bring focus to the smooth and elegant flower, showing different shading techniques. February 2010
Alice
This 8 1/2x12 in. oil painting on canvas was created for my best friend. A simple pear tree with vibrant purple leaves and white bark stands out significantly from the deep and changing purples of the background. When I finished, to me, it seemed like something to be found in Wonderland. August 30, 2011
Freedom
I had been working on this sparrow drawing when finally I decided it was up to par. Thank you to the tattoo artist, Byron of Altered Skin, Missoula Montana. August 2011
